Assessments

Assessments for brain function depend on the condition being assessed. For example, assessments for vertigo may begin with measurements of the eyes and their response to head movements, whereas assessments for whiplash may begin with measurements of neck positions, and the effect that these positions have on the eyes.  Concussion requires assessments in many different categories.  Balance could be used as a general assessment for most disorders, however, it does not tell us anything specific.  Every brain is unique, and therefore each condition may require a slightly different assessment, and your therapist will determine what is necessary for you after listening to your history.
